Musical Talents
If you would like to share a song with the
congregation, we invite your participation. Anyone
interested in sharing their musical gifts during
prelude or offering time, please contact Gene Garis,
Rick Howell, or Tonya Stoltzfus.
Hymn
Sing at Media Mennonite Church
May 11 we will be having a hymn sing at church.
Please write down your request and place in the box
on the table in the lobby. We plan to be singing old
hymns this time. Everyone is welcome so
invite your neighbors and friends.
Bulletin
Board
Please check the bulletin board in the lobby for
information regarding Marriage and Engaged
Encounters coming to our area this year. This is a
way of laying a foundation for a Christ-center
relationship with your spouse/partner. See Arlene
Kreider for further info.
Additional Contributions
The Missions committee has decided that last
Sunday’s offering for MCC will be designated for the
“Bangladesh Cyclone Disaster Response.” If anyone
would like to make additional contributions to this
cause, you may do so by next Sunday March 30th.
Please mark envelope for MCC.
VBS Drama Director
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is June 22-26, 2008
Vacation Bible School is looking for a Drama
Director. This individual(s) would take leadership
in the organization of skits each night during VBS.
Their responsibilities would include gathering
actors, actresses, stage hands, and personnel to
help with props. Please speak to Renae Bender, Heidi
Neff or Kevin C. Martin for more info. Also, check
out mmchurch.org for additional ways you can be part
of this years VBS.
MCC Project Donations - The Kids Are Coming!
The children will be collecting offering money
during Sunday School to benefit an MCC Water Works
project. The money collected will be used to dig
wells, build irrigation systems, and provide
drinking water to needy people around the world.
Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to run audio and visual
equipment and no experience is needed. Professional
training will be given to individuals willing to serve
in this area. If interested, see Jim Witter or Jesse
Johnson.
Parents
For your convenience we have 2 nurseries available
during the worship service. There is an
adult-staffed nursery downstairs for infants and
toddlers and there is an un-staffed room at the
entrance to the sanctuary for sleeping babies. We
offer these services so that you and those around
you can worship and learn with as few distractions
as possible.

Volunteer for Children's Church
The
Children's Ministry Team is planning on expanding
the current Children's Church Program. Starting in
September there will be a separate class for two and
three year olds when the older children are having
children's church in the fellowship hall. Teachers
are needed to read a story, help children color a
picture, and interact with the children during play
time in a classroom downstairs for 30 to 40 minutes
during the Sunday worship service. Volunteers will
be part of a rotation requiring participation once
every two to three months depending on the number of
volunteers. If you are interested, please contact

Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers for two Sunday Morning ministries and
your gifts may be the perfect fit. We are looking for
people interested in operating the sound system and
individuals who would like to be ushers. If you would
like to receive training in these areas and be part of
the teams that help these ministries get done, please
contact the church office. |
